Tim Tebow hoping Chip Kelly can restart his career

Hoping his connection with Eagles coach Chip Kelly’s ability to develop quarterbacks will help his career and allow him to remain in the NFL.

Tim Tebow may be thinking that playing for Chip Kelly could resurrect his stalled career.

The quarterback signed a one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, and Tebow says the unconventional and innovative Kelly will find a role for him on the team.

Outside observers say Kelly could use Tebow’s unique abilities in certain situations, giving Tebow a reason to believe that his talents could be showcased in Philadelphia.

“I think he’s the kind of coach who plays to a player’s strengths,” Tebow said of Kelly.

The New York Giants star wide receiver has been nursing a sore left hamstring and the problem may force the second-year player to miss the team’s remaining organized team activities and next week’s mandatory minicamp.

Beckham missed the entire training camp and the first four games of the regular season while recovering from a hamstring injury last year.

A seventh-round pick in the 2001 NFL draft, Housmandzadeh teamed with fellow wide receiver – and former Oregon State star – Chad Johnson to form one of the most potent wide receiver combinations in team history.

Flacco, entering his eighth NFL season, says his body feels good and there’s no reason why he couldn’t play another 10 seasons.

Should Flacco continue playing for at least another five seasons, he would join a growing trend of quarterbacks playing deep into their 30s, with a few approaching age 40.
