Toronto FC Wins Over Colorado Rapids

Toronto FC confirmed that it is indeed a team moving upstream after a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Rapids at BMO Field on Sunday afternoon.

The victory gives TFC 45 points, good for fourth-place in the MLS Eastern Conference, one spot ahead of D.C. United, a club also with 45 points though Toronto is placed ahead based on goal differential.

TFC hasnt lost in nine straight games and the victory snapped a three-game Colorado win streak, all under new head coach Robin Fraser, who joined the Rapids from Toronto where he was an assistant coach under Greg Vanney.

The victory gives TFC coach Vanney some breathing room with three games in six days starting with Sundays match.
