For the second year in a row, the MLB free agent market is at a standstill.

Theres plenty of activity going on behind the scenes and rumors swirling by the minute, but because of the attention marquee free agents Bryce Harper and Manny Machado are drawing, were seeing the ripple effects throughout the free agent market.

The free agency timeline is being pushed back, and unlike years prior as opposed to having a new home before the New Year and well before the beginning of spring training more free agents are willing to hold out for the best deal, even if it means signing in late February/early March.

Last years notable free agents did just that and found the deals they were targeting.

Yu Darvish, Eric Hosmer and J.D. Martinez signed their long-term contracts on February 13, 20 and 26, respectively, with Jake Arrieta being the last major domino to fall when he signed his three-year, $75 million deal with the Phillies on March 12.

Here are a few players scheduled to be unrestricted free agents in the next three offseasons, barring signing an extension with their respective teams.
