Bluffton’s Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy ceases operations

The Ivan Lendl International Junior Tennis Academy has discontinued operations, the academy announced on its Facebook page Jan.

The IJTA, owned and operated by the Junior Sports Corporation, first opened in the summer of 2011 at the Port Royal Racquet Club on Hilton Head Island.

Students at the academy attended Heritage Academy, a private school on the island.

Tuesday’s announcement stated that the IJTA would “continue to work with several partner academies in Hilton Head and in Florida.” Junior Sports Corporation also owns the International Junior Golf Academy, located on Hilton Head Island.
