Celtics expecting ‘National TV Rondo’
Rajon Rondo helped the Celtics win an NBA championship in 2008.
Rondo is now with the Bulls, starting 42 games at point guard with 7.8 points per game to go with 6.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists.
That fact is known to the Celtics, who are preparing to face Rondo and the Bulls in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
I know, whether he tries it or not, those big games hes always gonna be ready for them, Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas told reporters, via ESPN, following Fridays practice before the top-seeded Celtics face the No. 8 Bulls Sunday at TD Garden.
Over his career, Rondo has averaged about three points and one rebound more during nationally televised games.
