Cheltenham Gold Cup Odds for 2014
The Gold Cup Odds for 2014 are already starting to prove popular with a number of horses being well backed at this early stage. Bobs Worth is of course the current champion and the Nicky Henderson horse is in a great position to retain his title after he won the Lexus Chase over in Ireland recently.
One name who has entered the Gold Cup pictures this season is the exciting Cue Card, who won the Betfair Chase at Haydock in some style. The Colin Tizzard horse won the Ryanair Chase at Cheltenham Gold Cup last season and following his win in the Betfair, he is a single figured price for the Gold Cup in March.
Another key Gold Cup Runner in March could well be Dynaste who has shown plenty of potential for David Pipe over the past couple of seasons. He looks to be a classy chaser who could still be anything and could well be a contender in the Gold Cup in March.
It is also well worth keeping an eye on Silviniaco Conti who was travelling really well for Ruby Walsh and Paul Nicholls in the Gold Cup before falling. He seems to be an improving horse at this level, as he showed recently by winning the King George at Kempton, and he remains a strong stayer who deserves respect.
Cheltenham Gold Cup Runners and Riders
The best chasers of the season will head to Cheltenham for the showpiece Gold Cup and all the connections of the well fancied horses will be looking to get the bets jockeys for their horses. The final list of 2014 Gold Cup Runners will not be known until the 48 hour stage but we can expect to see the likes of Bobs Worth and Dynaste head the field.
Other potential runners in the big race in 2014 include the talented Dynaste who ran well in the Jewson Novices Chase last season, while Boston Bob is tipped for a big season this year in Gold Cup company after showing some real signs of class at points in 2013.
