GMC Tournament to start

Their first challenge may not come until the semifinals, where teams like Old Bridge and Woodbridge could make their way to rematches of very close regular season games.

Two very interesting matchups occur in the very first round of the tournament, with South Plainfield taking on Woodbridge and Dunellen squaring off against Timothy Christian.

Woodbridge was able to take care of business at home against the Tigers, but South Plainfield defeated the Barrons 2-1 and went on to beat Colonia and Metuchen in the next two games.

If the Bears find themselves up against South Brunswick in the final, they will try to earn their first win against the Vikings this season.

Old Bridge was actually the only team to defeat South Brunswick on the season and is one of the highs of the season that features some difficult lows.

The team improved their health throughout the season and finished strong with wins over bot the Bears and the Vikings.

The Bulldogs will take on Piscataway in the first round, a team that finished the season strong that went (4-0-1) in their last final games.

They are playing their best at the end of the season and will hopefully take the strong play into the playoff game.
