Golf tournament raises funds for Boys & Girls Club

A golf tournament at Sand Hills Country Club raised more than $4,000 for the Commerce branch of the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Texas.

According to Boys & Girls Club CPO Jenny Krueger, the Commerce club is the fastest-growing club in the organization, as well as its highest-performing club.

The club has sent middle school students to the Commerce Police Department’s summer CHAOS program, and partnered with the First Baptist Church of Commerce to enroll students in their summer reading program.
