Gunners make Gonzalo Higuain top priority signing this summer
Arsenal remain interested in Gonzalo Higuain as they make signing a world class striker their priority this summer, according to football insider sources.
Arsenal fans have been calling for the club to sign a world class striker for quite some time and now the club is reportedly interested in Higuain as Wenger prepares to strengthen is squad ahead of next season.
According to reports, a club insider has revealed that Wenger is interested in signing a centre forward that can score at least 30 goals a season.
It is believed the club will do everything possible to sign Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
The Gunners have been monitoring Higuain since his time at Madrid and despite losing out on his signature to Napoli, the Argentine is still top of Wenger’s wish list.
Arsenal are strong favorites with online bingo to submit a huge offer for the striker this summer and will battle the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United for his signature.
The striker is expected to cost the club as much as £73.9m which is the release clause in his current deal as Napoli are insistent his release clause must be met.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move to sign PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic and BVB’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang but Higuain is Wenger’s priority.
Higuin has scored 82 goals for Napoli since joining the Italian club in 2013.
