Tournament organizers of the Indian Wells event say that they are taking measures to deal with the outbreak of the coronavirus, which has resulted in the death of 11 people in the United States so far.

The tournament takes place in Palm Springs, California and some players have already begun arriving at Indian Wells.

The tournament officials commented to a response from noted tennis journalist Christopher Clarey, who commented, We are closely watching the developments with the coronavirus.
