Iowa State fans nervous about losing Hoiberg to the NBA

In five seasons at Iowa State, Hoiberg, known for implementing an NBA-style offense, is 115-56.

Pollard said he does not know if Hoiberg has an interest in coaching in Chicago, where Hoiberg played during four of his 10 NBA seasons.

The Bulls haven’t officially made a coaching change yet, but it’s believed they maybe looking to trade or fire head coach Tom Thibodeau, to hire Hoiberg.

“I recognize it’s tough on you guys, it’s tough on the players (and) it’s tough on the fans, ” Pollard said.
