Tennis great John Mc Enroe fears Nick Kyrgios is on a path to tennis ruin if he does not change his ways.
Mc Enroes provocative claim comes barely a fortnight after Kyrgios publicly announced he was seeking professional help to get on top of his mental health issues.
Mc Enroe put his hand up to mentor Kyrgios two years ago, an offer that prompted a hes dreaming response from the Australian but the pair have since bonded while Mc Enroe has captained Kyrgios in Team World for the first two editions of the Laver Cup. I think hes a great kid and actually I think hes the most talented tennis player that Ive seen in 10 years, the former world No 1 and seven-times grand slam champion Mc Enroe said on Sunday night.
