Kyle Edmund Gets Picked As Player Of The Year.
The Lawn Tennis Writers Association of Great Britain was established during the British Hard Court Championships at the West Hants Club in Bournemouth in 1951 and it didnt take long for it to make an impact on the tennis coverage in Great Britain, including morning papers, the London evenings, provincial publications, the agencies and tennis magazines.
The LTWA has established the award winners right from the start and the names like Jean Borotra, Billie Jean King, Fred Perry, Tim Henman, Greg Rusedski, Goran Ivanisevic and Andy Murray are all on the list, joined by the 23-year-old Kyle Edmund who is the 2018 Lawn Tennis Writers Association British player of the season!
Kyle had some good runs during 2017 but that wasnt enough to excel his game and make the bigger move through the rankings, changing that already after the very first month of the new season, reaching the quarter-final in Brisbane and the semi-final at the Australian Open, his first at the Majors.
