Following Thursday’s 116-105 win over the Charlotte Hornets, James told reporters he “should have more than four” MVP awards.

Maybe James hasn’t thought about the exact number of MVPs he should have, but he was pretty vocal about Giannis Antetokounmpo winning the award over him after the 2019-20 NBA season.

That marked the fourth time in his career James has finished second in the MVP voting. He lost out to James Harden during the 2017-18 season, Kevin Durant during the 2013-14 season and Steve Nash during the 2005-06 season.

One more MVP award would tie James with Jordan.
