North girls’ golf places four in the top five to capture City meet

Hadley Walts was the epitome of the North girls’ golf team slogan on Saturday.

Walts’ ability to bomb the fairways with accuracy and follow it with a nice approach shot stood out to Wempe.

Four golfers for North ranked in the top five individually to earn first-team all-City: Walts, Kieffer (76) and juniors Brittany Skinner (77) and Katelyn Le (79).

Memorial placed three in the top 10 with junior Lauren Giauo (76) and seniors Anna Tucker (82) and Hannah Nichols (89).

Mater Dei junior Sophie Rohleder was one of three Wildcats to earn second-team all-City honors along with junior Natalie Blair (83) and senior Anna McAtee (88).

Walts, along with Wempe, were both impressed with Rohleder’s effort.
