Robinson, McGary gathering information about NBA potential

Sophomores Nik Stauskas, Glenn Robinson III and Mitch McGary are NBA prospects and are being evaluated by the NBA Undergraduate Advisory Committee to gauge their potential for the June 26 NBA draft.

The deadline for submitting names to the UAC for an evaluation is Wednesday and coach John Beilein said his players are getting feedback.

Over last week and this week, we’re gaining information,” Beilein said Wednesday morning on the “Michigan Insider” radio show on WTKA 1050.

“There’s 21 teams that anonymously will rate a player where they believe he’d be drafted,” Beilein said.

Beilein said he uses the UAC evaluation as the main basis for evaluation, though many NBA scouts also have seen the Wolverines throughout the season and have gotten an up-close look at the players.

“We love the four young men we have coming in; they all had tremendous (senior) seasons,” Beilein said.
