17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer and King of Clay Rafael Nadal absence at the Miami Masters might affect the tournament and it will be a huge lose for the event this year.
Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are not going to arrive here in Miami this year, as both the players have announced to skip from the tournament to take rest for the upcoming clay court season. Federer has been missing the tournament for the first time in 14-years and Nadal was not playing in the event first time in nine years. According to sources, Sony Open might face big lose this year, after tennis legends withdraws from the event.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and American tennis great Serena Williams have been seeded top in their respective games and both the players are looking hot favorites to clinch the 2013 Miami Masters next week on the grounds of Crandon Park Tennis Center. Meanwhile, World No. 3 Andy Murray has been working hard in training session on Stadium court at Crandon Park Tennis Center.
Tournament director Adam Barrett insists that Federer and Nadal are great tennis champions and missing both the players with completely different reason, which it is a tough break for the event. He added fans are going to miss tennis legends this year in Miami.
