Sock, Pospisil win China Open doubles title
Down a set and a service break in the second set, Sock and Pospisil recovered to defeat the fourth-seeded team of Canadian Daniel Nestor and France’s Edouard Roger-Vasselin 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-6) in the China Open final Sunday in Beijing.
1 singles player Will Gleason were the named junior girls and boys players of the year, respectively, at the Lincoln Tennis Association awards banquet Sunday at Woods Tennis Center.
Mannix, who trains at Woods Tennis Center, will be the state award winner as well when the Nebraska Tennis Association holds its Hall of Fame/Awards banquet Nov.
