Topgolf In Hawaii
Topgolf, the major sports entertainment venue that includes climate-controlled hitting bays with microchipped golf balls, restaurants, private rooms for corporate and social events and hundreds of HDTVs, could be expanding to Hawaii’s largest tourism destination, Pacific Business News has learned.
Mark Rolfing, an analyst with NBC Sports and Golf Channel who lives on Maui, told PBN that one of the considerations being looked at is opening a Topgolf venue at the Ala Wai Golf Course in Waikiki.
Rolfing is working with the City and County of Honolulu on two projects involving the redevelopment of the city’s Ala Wai and Kahuku golf courses.

For Rolfing, the Topgolf venue would be part of a bigger plan for the redevelopment the Ala Wai Golf Course, considered by some as the busiest golf course in the United States.
The expansion of the Kahuku Golf Course could add nearly 1,000 yards to the nine-hole course that would allow golfers to play two nine-hole rounds.
