Toronto’s Donaldson remains sidelined
Toronto third baseman Josh Donaldson, the reigning American League MVP, sat out his third straight game because of a sore right hip and had an MRI examination Wednesday, Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins said.
Atkins said Donaldson’s hip hasn’t responded to treatment, and that the three-time All-Star third baseman was “miserable” about not being able to play.
