After Augusta, it’s on to Harbour Town

The RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing will be held April 15-21 at the Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island.

“Boeing is proud to showcase our iconic wide-body airplane at the RBC Heritage, one of the most exciting PGA TOUR events of the season.” The Heritage Classic Foundation unveiled plans for the Heritage Lawn, a new feature at Harbour Town.

The Heritage Lawn is located between holes 17 and 18 prime real estate at Harbour Town Golf Links just steps from the Calibogue Sound and sure to become a favorite gathering spot for fans.” Among the variety of activities offered on the Heritage Lawn, fans can enjoy a beverage at the Grey Goose Lounge, stop by the Hilton Head Island Bluffton Chamber of Commerce Social Media Lounge to share experiences and get all the latest Hilton Head Island Insider travel information, participate in the RBC Fan Experience and the Bridgestone Interactive Tent.

The RBC Heritage is stepping up to support Els for Autism this April to recognize Autism Awareness Month at the PGA Tour stop at Hilton Head Island.


Tournament organizers have teamed up with Els for Autism on a number of initiatives to raise awareness of autism, highlight the importance of early detection and raise funds to help build the Els Center of Excellence which will serve people on the autism spectrum from ages 3-21.

The RBC Heritage has designated Friday, April 19, to be the tournament’s Autism Awareness Day, and players and fans are being encouraged to wear blue to the event and join World of Golf Hall of Famer and four-time major champion Ernie Els in showing support for those affected by autism spectrum disorders.

Els for Autism founder, Ernie Els, said: “Since Liezl and I announced that our son Ben was touched by autism five years ago, we have been blown away by the support we have received, especially from the golf community.

We are extremely touched by this support from the RBC Heritage, whose team is helping our efforts to use golf as a platform to raise awareness of the disorder and promote the importance of early detection during April.
