Billy Horschel Wins Nearly $2 Million.

Billy Horschel made par on the 17th hole to close out Scottie Scheffler, 2 Up, and claim victory at the WGC-Dell Match Play Championship.

After defeating Victor Perez in a semifinal match, Horschel went down early to the 24-year old Scheffler, but gained control before the turn, and never relinquished the lead as the two finalists traded pars and battled to ties on each of the remaining homeward holes at Austin Country Club.

Along with The WGC trophy, Horschel earned $1,820,000 and 550 FedExCup points.
