Eli Manning Retires Top Of The Pay Scale.

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning will retire from the NFL on Friday, ending his football career as the top-earning player in league history.

The longtime NFL quarterback earned an unprecedented $252 million in salary during his 16-year NFL career, according to Spotrac.

In 2019, he shattered the NFL’s all-time career earning record established by his older brother, former quarterback Peyton Manning, who retired in 2016 with roughly $249 million in career earnings.

“We are proud to have called Eli Manning our quarterback for so many years,” said Steve Tisch, Giants chairman and executive vice president.
