Justin Thomas Ends Up On Leading Before Lightning Strike.

While Brooks Koepka was the overwhelming favorite to come away with the Tour Championship and walk away with the $15 million prize at East Lake Golf Club entering the weekend, Justin Thomas and Rory Mc Ilroy are right there with him.

In fact, Thomas led the field at 12 under thru five holes, one shot ahead of Koepka and Mc Ilroy, when play was ended early Saturday in Atlanta after lightning struck behind the 16th hole.

Koepka is still the +200 favorite with Mc Ilroy at +225 and Thomas – the actual leader of the event – at +250.

In 2017, Thomas was the Fed Ex Cup winner although Xander Schauffele – currently in fourth – took home the Tour Championship.
